Q: Is the capacity of the 120 MB diskette compressed? How much user storage space is actually available?
The LS-120 diskette has 120 MB of actual user capacity. The capacity takes in account the DOS/Windows format and the user should see the full 120 MB for use on IBM compatible computers. Since the capacity is native, it can be increased via compression. All LS-120 diskettes come high-level DOS/Windows formatted, so they are ready to use out of the box.
